Our Partners: A Chat about the Iranian HVACR Market
Note: The blog below includes information from the Sauermann Group`s Kimo brand. A recognised leader of portable and fixed measurement equipment for over 30 years, Kimo provides a wide range of measuring solutions for pressure, temperature, humidity, air velocity, airflow, gas analysis, air quality, sound level, and other parameters. In 2015, Kimo joined the Sauermann Group. The Group now operates two main brands: Sauermann for condensate removal pumps (including accessories and solution kits) and instruments for improving indoor air quality, and Kimo for instruments aimed at measuring and monitoring air parameters.
INsights recently chatted with our Iranian partner, Ramin Ramezani, Managing Director, Tadbir Sanjesh Tavana, about the HVACR market in Iran.
Ramin is based in Tehran and has been working in the HVACR market in Iran since 1995. He has been selling Kimo products in Iran since 2013.
Within the Iranian market, he sells all types of measuring instruments. Fifty percent of his customers are from Tehran, Iran`s capital and largest city, with the rest coming from other large cities including Mashad, Isfahan, Ahwaz ,Tabriz and Shiraz.
HVACR is a huge industry in Iran, and HVACR building and sales are estimated to be USD 10 billion annually.
Given their multi-functionality, Kimo`s measuring instruments are quite popular. Customers for these devices come from a wide variety of sectors. A number of Kimo devices are in demand in Iran, including dataloggers, gas analysers, and liquid manometers.
Given the size of the HVACR sector in Iran and the joining of Kimo and Sauermann, he also plans to start selling Sauermann`s strong selection of condensate removal pumps.
